After scouring over the members wishes in the wishlist thread I realized that I should stick in something that goes well with covers while I have the chance.
And that would be screenshots. After suffering numerous injuries getting all the screenshots done for the online database it would be a waste not to use them in RetroCopy as well wouldn't it?
I also spent some time the other day studying the game boxes used for various systems, and with the help of Tommy and others I think I have a firm grasp on what is needed on that end. I also designed a Game Gear 3D box ready for the next release, even though the GG part of the database hasn't been done yet it's good to get the covers done for the systems RetroCopy emulates. Also Mark III/Tectoy and possibly even Nintendo boxes may be done before release.
As to the status, things are running well. The downloading of covers+screenshots is working, and now it's just a matter of tidying up a few aspects and bug testing. I'm hoping for a Friday release.
