So as can be seen the new version is out. Hopefully it runs smoothly for everyone, quite a lot of testing has gone into it but you can never be sure can you?
An interesting thing for this release is whether or not the RetroCopy dedicated server here is going to be able to take the load from this new version. Since there is quite a lot of online capabilities now within RetroCopy it will be an interesting thing to see.
I've already had to increase quite a few server buffers when the new game database went up a month ago. I still have some room to upgrade the current machine it is hosted on so if it can't handle it at least there are options.
Now this release is out I can finally begin working on fun stuff I have been dreaming about the last 4 weeks, let's just hope there aren't too many bugs to fix.
