So it's been a few days since my last update. There are a few reasons for this, all of which will hopefully bring joy to RetroCopy users...
Basically I've put in a stripped down version of a modern 3D game engine into RetroCopy, pixel shaders, mouse selection, proper input (I cloned Half Life / Counterstrike movement), etc. I've also been at work on some "behind the scenes" stuff when it comes to emulation, and yes, NES will be in next beta, it's done! I'm going to be releasing a new video tomorrow showcasing what the new engine in RetroCopy can do, I think it should be something special so make sure to check in to see it.
Over the weekend one of my videos on youtube ticked over 1000 views, and all the videos combined have been viewed about 3000 times. Now for a lot of people this might not be much, but for a new emulator just starting out it's not too bad. The website is also now getting over 300 visits a day from people all around the world. It's good to see my hard work bringing people some joy and getting a bit of recognition. If you wouldn't mind repaying the favour then get a youtube account and rate/favourite my videos on there, help spread the word!
Finally I am likely going to be implementing a download system where registered members get new versions a day or two earlier than the public. So sign up now and get it out of the way. It's easy. There is about 220 hours of programming work in the next version so there is lots to expect for v0.300b .
