Have you ever had your internet service interrupted? These days not being connected to the internet is like unplugging yourself from the Matrix, you have to get your information the old fashioned way.
My internet has been sporadic over the last 24 hours, so it must be one of those things you seem to only think about only when it's not there. Like a wife that leaves you for a younger programmer that isn't past it, or when the electricity is cut because you forgot to pay the bill for 6 months.
Anyhow no one reads the blog here for some social commentary, so what is new in the emulator world when it comes to RetroCopy? The last release seems to have gone down really well, downloads are high, emails are pleasant and very few bugs reported.
I noticed in the logs that over 1500 slashdot visitors came here sometime this month. This isn't being slashdotted (that is more like 10s of thousands), I think maybe one of the RetroCopy members must have posted a link in the comments or something along these lines. Thanks whoever it was.
The next release is almost ready, if I am lucky it will be out tomorrow provided my internet has restored itself and Tommy is pleased with changes to the rom browser. After this I'll be free to work on one of the cool features I have wanted for a while now, I'm not sure how long that will take but I hope it's not too long.
