So the last week has seen A LOT of stuff added to RetroCopy but the title of this post is a bit misleading as it is hardly the biggest of things I've been working on. Nonetheless it's also something cool.

Now what is this showing? Well for those non Futurama fans out there it's showing an AVI video being rendered inside the RetroCopy world. The idea being that you can add your selected videos you want to the appropriate directory and load them onto RetroCopy TV's. It uses the same ROM browser you're familiar with now, instead of selecting say Megadrive you select "videos".
Since it uses the same code behind the popular VLC media player it runs nearly everything you can throw at it, including flash videos as far as I'm aware, so maybe youtube support isn't far away
. I still have to hook the audio engine up but that should be a breeze now thanks to the audio rewrite I have already done.
As to the other things I've been working on, I guess that's what release videos are for.
