I've been sick the last few days with one of those human viruses we seem to get every now and again, the common cold. What is the best way to cure that? Doing more work of course!
When I'm sick I find it a little harder to work as much as I do, but it's always a good opportunity to tackle the things I often neglect. One thing I haven't changed in quite a while is the look of RetroCopy.

I've gotten rid of those "witty" messages and instead have a bigger logo that does a fade type effect. Along with that, "video game" related clipart now floats like it's in water in the background. I had to do a bit of rejigging of my GUI to support the hardware scaling, rotation and window alpha. It's not yet as flexible as it should be, but for the simple floating objects I needed it will suffice for now. I've also moved the clipping of the windows onto OpenGL when it's available, I'm not sure if it's any faster or not but there you go.
Meanwhile if you squint at the pictures you should see a changing of the main options. There is now "instant play" which has no concept of the GAME ROOM, it acts like a regular emulator with one game at a time. The game room option will only be available if you're logged into the server as sometime in the future your rooms will be stored online for others to look at and various other cool things.
