So I had a little play around with writing something new for the Master System on Saturday. I was surprised how quick it was for me, but since I've been developing emulators for the system for a while now I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

RetroBilly (.GAME format for RetroCopy, 319KB)
RetroBilly (.SMS format zipped for other emulators, 340KB)
It's a demo showing true sample playback on the master system. It basically plays back a part of Michael Jackson's Billy Jean in reasonable quality. I can probably improve it given a bit more time and tweaking. It seems to sound best in RetroCopy which is cool I guess, but give it a try in others and form your own opinions.
I will be getting my test system set up shortly, which will mean I will be able to verify my VDP findings on the real systems. There has been some criticism directed towards me because some of the emulation in RetroCopy hasn't been tested properly on a real machine. So I hope to ease those criticisms by testing them on a real system, I have a feeling they will be mostly correct but it's always good to know for sure.
There is also some undiscovered things that I want to find out, that no existing games really use but will be important for history's sake and future software which will take advantage of all of the SMS.
