Big thanks to Tommy and Sasha for their hundreds of hours spent working on this. Go to the GAMES section of the website to check them out. I've also added the ability to look at title screen shots instead of the covers in the list.

RetroCopy Game List

I've done some covers for the I games, but we still need more covers to finish the others, if you have any start uploading them and tell us! Check out the I games here :-

I have a full 3D set that I got from the Hyperspin FTP why not contact the user who created them and ask if he minds you using them, I suspect he would be pleased that you asked. I would apply the same advice to any other artwork you need in future.

How large are the covers and what is a "full set" define?

File sizes are about 200KB, the dimensions are 530x337 they have been cleaned up and are the best I have seen anywhere. The guy who made them goes by the username of azzbarb. There are around 750 covers I believe it to be a full US set.

Here's the announcement thread with some sample images.

The thread says 600 but there are more in the set now as stated above.

Yeah they are too small then. The reason we do the covers is for historical reasons and they need to be large enough to be read in a 3D environment. If the horizontal is under 1200 pixels for the full cover (both sides and spine) it's not enough. If the guy has the original high resolution ones (ie he made a subset of smaller ones from larger ones) then maybe we can have a talk. :D The samples in that thread seem like they are using stock higher than 337x530
