So finally I have pretty much finished the switch over to the new GUI system for consoles. The last one I did was SG-1000 / SC-3000 which is a new system in RC v0.960.

What is interesting about this system is that one of its options adds another input device. In the screenshot you can see the keyboard being added to the list of input devices. Nearly all of the SG-1000 games support the SK-1100 keyboard, or the SC-3000 keyboard. This is perhaps because SC-3000 owners with their inbuilt keyboards may have preferred to play games using it.
Either way it's not something that is easy to setup in other emulators, which is no longer the case here. I will also be adding the same SK-1100 keyboard to the SMS / Mark III emulator soon, as quite a few games also support it there. One of them, F16 Fighting Falcon even has a multiplayer mode using the keyboard that I'm not sure anyone in the world has ever used, besides the developers. Perhaps something to add at one point in the future.
The export Sega Master System doesn't officially support the keyboard addon, which is why we mostly don't know much about it. Also visible in the screenshot is the addition of the SJ-150 control pad which was released for the SG-1000/SC-3000, even though it's effectively the same hardware as the SMS control pad (all of which can be used on any of these systems) I added it here just so it's a bit more authentic.
