Nearly there...

So a little GUI change has occurred. But I believe it is a lot more straightforward now! What do you think?

What you could do, is when the system is on, is have a cart, or disc (what ever you call that one on the front) in the base.

Yeah for some consoles, like the SMS1 that is fairly straight forward, but what about NES? :)

Perhaps it's very personal but i think it would be better with the screen at the right and the system at the center, like this :

But it's just my advice ...

But the screenshots will not fit in the screen , in the picture , I can only see two of the three screenshots per game , and it is better not to make them smaller, in itself the screenshots are very small.

It would be good if, from now on, every game have 2 screenshots instead of 3 . Two screenshots would fit better in the screen.

and the covers look so small....

Thats easy, either leave the lid shut, or do like we all used to and just lift the lid up, squint and tilt our heads to see if we could see what the game was :D

I'll try that positioning out Micky, maybe it does work better.

@Coolartdude once we can hire some artists and whatnot I think having a completely 3D game setup would alleviate all the issues you face with 2D. Flying cartridges loading into working slots, etc. :D

Got rid of the screenshots in the cover tab and adjusted the image as per Micky's suggestion.

NICE WORK RALPH ;), BUT , Would be nice if also make a separate tab FOR SCREENSHOTS like you do with THE OTHERS:

SCREENSHOTS
COVERS
INFO
REVIEWS
HINTS

This is much better: in term of GUI design, it' generally advised not to bloat the screen with too much informations at once as it becomes easily unreadable.

The problem now is that 3D cardboxes which made the specificity of retrocopy are very small and it will probably be hard to read the text on the back of the box now... maybe having the window separated vertically as before, with the TV+console+options+controllers (each on top on the other) on the left side and game info window on the right side, is better ?

You should also definitively get ride of those unaesthetic screenshots in the lower tab by having them rather displayed dynamically in the top TV screen.

And please change that "Windows 95-like" wallpaper in the background, you should choose a more neutral color/theme in my opinion, changing theme with the selected console would also be a good idea.

The lowest supported resolution is 1280x720, which is the lowest HighDef setting, which is also what I take most of my screenshots/videos at. For most people they'll have plenty of vertical resolution for reading the covers, and it can still be adjusted for 1280x720 users anyhow, it's quite easy to read covers in the config I took the screenshot in. Easier than before I found.

Windows 95 like backgrounds.... I don't know why but I find that the most insulting thing you've said. :D Come on, it's more XP isn't it?

I'll see what I can do though with that, I have some ideas, and a theme for every system does sound nice. Perhaps some sort of parallax scrolling background you find on genesis/snes games might be nice.

Pepodmc: The reason why you don't see all the screenshots is because the resolution which has been used here is 1280x720. You only see two screenshots in the current version as well with that resolution. If you have a standard screen and use full screen you see all screenshots.
