So I've put a few hours into Duke Nukem Forever (DNF) over the last few days and one interesting thing I saw in it is how some elements relate to RetroCopy.I think the arcade machines in Duke Nukem Forever look a lot better than RetroCopy's but I guess the downside is the ones in DNF don't actually work. At the beginning of the game there is also a section where Duke is in his room playing a console, with controller in hand. I kind of see some RetroCopy related stuff in this.I can also relate to George Broussard and his ~14 year development cycle for DNF. When money isn't a concern getting things perfect takes priority. And there is a lot of stuff in DNF that you just go "Wow, I can't believe some guy spent a few months adding this when it's not even necessary for the game". All in all I think DNF is an enjoyable game, certainly better than most things I've played recently, even though the reviews don't really seem to like it. You can see it's a work of art made by a perfectionist. Anyhow, going back to the 0.970 release schedule, I'm nearly finished with everything I didn't want to work on. And the cheat finder is going to be worked on over the coming days, and then a release will follow!

Not just gamespot that gave it a crap review and score, quite a few sites have, but it will sell regardless. We don't mind Ralph, just as long as Retrocopy doesn't become a Duke Nukem Forever type of release
