-
Emulation of computer systems.
Emulation is a way to run software meant for one system on another. RetroCopy has no idea what type of software is run on it's emulators. Emulation of commercial software is legal in most regions provided you own a copy of the software. No copyright material is held within RetroCopy's binaries or on the RetroCopy website except that permitted and owned by RetroCopy's owner.
-
Networking
RetroCopy connects to it's server on startup to display appropriate information and allow users to logon to it's game-matching service. Any software downloads that happen within the program happen on a user to user basis and require the end-user to acknowledge/understand the laws appropriate to their region and the status of any software they distribute to others.
-
Disclaimer of Warranty.
RetroCopy's owner disclaims any responsibility for harm resulting from RetroCopy or any software or content downloaded using RetroCopy, whether or not RetroCopy's owner approved such software or content.
