The GAME format needs your help! Basically we need someone that can run over each GameGear game and insert various information about it into an editor. It's fairly simple to use once you get the hang of it, it basically amounts to clicking checkboxes and entering a little text for each game.



The above picture is from the SMS screen, which is a little more complicated than GameGear because of all the addons and other features. The information which has to be inserted is rather simple to get, you can just play the game in question for a few seconds to get various information or do a google search.

So if video games interest you and you want to contribute something to RetroCopy then you may have some fun doing this. You will also become a beta tester and get new versions before the public so that's another benefit.

I want to contribute with this game gear database. It will be a great excuse to play games that i didn't played before.

There is a prevision to initiate the work on the Game Gear Database? You are still working on it to release?

Yes once we are sure the editor is fine for SMS I will then do GG and give you access to the beta forum to download it and learn about it. We debated for 4 hours the other night about the right way to do the editing and we are still ironing out a few kinks in the process.

How is this going? Is fadware working on GG yet?

Unfortunately, i'm not working on GG yet. I am still waiting Ralph's "GO".

Very soon! I need to work on the editor tomorrow for the next release, which will complete most of the GG features, and then Fadware can start processing GG. I've enabled your beta status Fadware so you can begin reading some of the threads in the beta forum for preparation.
