I added PSG level and FM level options to the config file, so you can set the levels how you want. No option to set them in RetroCopy's GUI yet.

BTW Sasha, you know when you're in the 3D room the sound coming out of every system is made into mono sound, so the mono option is already there... kinda. :)

Yes this bug is fixed (I believe). At least I seem to hear more rings now... could be going crazy though... :)

These games with sample rate: 44100 and 48000 works fine.

Zombies ate my neighbors - in 192000Hz sample rate, no sound, only silent signal.
Zombie high - in 192000Hz sample rate, no sound.
Castlevania - bloodlines - in 192000Hz sample rate, no sound.
Blades of Vengeance - in 192000Hz sample rate, no music, only SFX
Columns 1 - in 192000Hz sample rate, after options, in game hangs sound.

New bugs:

Championship Pro-AM - no sound, and game hang after options.

From the next version on the MegaDrive FM chip is sampled at its native speed and then using a high quality algorithm it is mixed to the host sample rate. Improves the sound quality quite a bit, this is the "SuperHQ" option I think other emulators call it.

SuperHQ yes very required feature, also feature Overdrive good volume booster, and lowpass filter for emulation original 22050hz on sample rates: 44100, 48000.

all these feature required for emulation real console :)

Mmm well I added a global sound equalizer today, meaning there is now a high pass/low pass filter for every system and you can specify gain for the 3 sections (hi,mid, low) so you can get the perfect setting now I think. It sounds very good, much better than before! I also fixed another major sound bug today dealing with high frequency sounds in the FM chip for Megadrive, the sound is pretty much as good if not better than emulators like Kega now (to my ear anyhow).

Now I have to tie up the new filter to the YM2413 chip in SMS so it can enjoy the quality.

Well I know WHAT causes it, but not sure why it happens yet, if that makes sense. There is a 8bit write to VDP port to start a VDP fill (with value 0x84). Now depending upon how you write that fill (whether address^1 or address) will determine if that glitch appears. I'm not sure if the value coming from the game is wrong (0x84) or whether my implementation of the address DMA fills go to is wrong. There are a few places it could be going wrong and there is no real documentation on it, I think it's just a simple byte switch bug though that I need to double check.

Are you getting the same bug?

Does Mickey mania will work on 0.720 release?

Congratulation for all your work ;-)

Not sure if it works, haven't tested it. When 720 is out try it out I guess. :)

Thanks Sasha, do you want to start a new thread for 720 so it's easier to track current issues.
