I've only got the following on me at this moment :-
Playstation 2 (modded) - With Gran Turismo 2? and some fighting game. I bought a lightgun for it too but I don't use it anymore due to my plasma being incompatible.

SMS1+SMS2 - About 20 cartridges.

Do PC's count? I have 5 of them. :)

Everytime in my adult life that I have tried to build a collection it seemingly gets taken away from me for various reasons, usually not enough space. I have played the hell out of most games on the real 8/16/32/64bit systems though, it is why I got an obsession writing emulators ~12 years ago. As soon as I move into a big house I'll probably dedicate a whole room to a collection, am I the only one who wants to raise their kids on a retro video game diet? :D

In a few days the SMS DB will be up and people can post any stories there for those games, I have a few myself that I want to tell.

Here here, tried raising my oldest son (Now 8) on that diet, but he is a graphics whore thanks to modern gaming. He won't even watch me play the "oldies", let alone try to play them. He says they look stupid or unrealistic. I've tried to get him to play on the premise the game plays better, but that doesn't work. Maybe I'll have better luck with my youngest (now 3), we'll see.

Just so you know the temp controlled insured storage unit is my bedroom closet & living room....hehehe. All the NES Games are in big Rubbermaid bins, the Atari 2600 & Genesis carts, Dreamcast CD's are in a old chest for now, the Wii, Atari2600, NES, PS2 share the TV, but only the Wii gets regularly used, except the occasional NES party with the PowerPack. Like RetroRalph, I've no room to put out to display which I say SUCKS.

Well that has taken the air out of my sails! Let us hope your 3yo sees the light.

You just need to say to your eldest son "No GTA 4 until you've beaten Sonic", a bit like vegetables with dinner. :)

I like that whole temp controlled thing you have got going there, it's the only way to do it if you're serious about storing these things for a long time.

Here is my list:

Atari 2600 - Only the well know games (seaquest, river raid, enduro and hero)
SMS 2 - about 30 carts
Mega Drive 2 - about 70 carts
Sega CD - 15 CD's and 1 game that needs 32x
32x - 6 carts
Game Gear - 20 carts
Nomad - Same as Mega Drive
Saturn - about 80 CD's
Dreamcast - about 150 CD's
NES - about 15 carts
SNES - about 40 carts
GameBoy Color - 6 carts
GameBoy Advance - about 30 carts
Nintendo 64 - 12 carts
GameCube - 4 CD's
PlayStation One - 40 CD's
PlayStation 2 - about 170 CD's
PlayStation 3 - 7 CD's

I must say that i am a great SEGA fan. All those systems above are in their original boxes, the only systems plugged on my TV are Play 3 and Mega Drive 2 (With Sega CD, 32x and the Master System converter). I had spent a lot of time playing those great systems in the past years, since i bought them, i always connect them in the new tv, playing the same games again and again.

Geez you've got a nice collection there! I'm jealous. I agree that these classic games have a lot of reasons to play them even today, future versions of RetroCopy will be taking this even further though and really giving every a reason to replay.
