RetroCopy allows us to play old games in a spectacular 3D environment. Now it's possible to create a retro gaming room filled with nostalgic items, games, posters, consoles, etc. But 3D models don't create themselves. To help make that a reality, I dedicate this thread towards the creation of 3D versions of everything retro gaming to fill out the game room.

Here's a WIP for the NES. 400 Polys. How detailed should it be?

That looks good enough to me. The lower the polys the better, provided it looks good! If you're going to texture it stay away from official logos and whatnot as I can't use copyrighted material. Maybe instead of using the word Nintendo on it :-

Use RetroCopy instead? Might not be as authentic but if done in the same style it wouldn't be a big issue to users.

Yeah I like that, maybe add "entertainment system" after it :D The R.E.S.

If you play with the shininess on that black part it could be shiny somewhat in RC.... are you going to do the joystick ports as a texture?

Nice! I like it. The final touch is maybe making the bottom a darker grey like the one in the screenshot. Besides that it's awesome, thanks.

OK i try to post my Mega Drive 2 (unknown version)

Without Mega CD, with cool loud PSG, Mono Sound Output, almost run all cartridges by switching regions: USA EUR JAP, and my eternal nostalgia :)

And edited picture:

Edited in Windows Paint and Microsoft Power Point

Yeah very unique type of Sega 1994, i search all places, and found in bad quality this picture.

I can do that, but I need to fix the UVs first. I kind of messed up, by not giving the black area enough resolution.

It would help a lot if people could find pictures of all the sides to each console. Such as the one RetroRalph posted of the NES.
