I spend 3 week's for searching all info about all versions of consoles, and not found anything for Sega Mega Drive 2, people just really don't know what is it, they say what Mega Drive 2 is Genesis, but they mistaken, many people think what Mega Drive 2 (1993) this is Model 2, but they again mistaken, i looked all Youtube records and Model 2 very bad thing in the planet, Mega Drive 2 this is not Model 2 and even not Model 1, she is prototype of Model 1 with version number 1.01 and most bad version 1.2, i have Model 1.01 for Europe region (PAL) (Stereo - Mono detect) i can easy use cartridges from another countryes, okay someone already think what this Sega Clone and again mistaken, i know all about Sega clones + played, they have sound as Model 1 but some audio channels maybe lost, for example i always have issue with PSG in Sega clone, because she not have PSG at all, after 4 seconds, Sonic the Hedgehog jump without PSG SFX, first ring you hear, second ring not, if i increase volume on TV set to 100% second ring very silently sounds with pop/crackle distortion. Another words Sega clones not have some features of Mega Drive and Genesis.
I have all features on my Model 1.01 + various improvements like more clean sound and good PSG music + region detection... and all this was in 1994-1996, Sega clones was created only in 2000x years.
Don't surprise all emulators almost very close to my Sega, they have region switching too, i think my TV set and VHS just cause bad effect on my console, due to Mono and PAL signal, she fall back to Russian standard, another words she try to switch to USA but quickly return to PAL, and i got slow music, you already noticed what my sound records sounds slow.

I must tell about my console because in all internet i not found any info about this cool console, and nobody don't want emulate all aspects of this Mega Drive 2, she already dead in memory of people, and they don't know what is it.

Very powerfull machine, unfortunately almost broken, may show audio and mess of garbage on screen
Third Sega Mega Drive 2 by default have correct values, and she my best console.
First Sega MD2 have: 220uF 16V - region PAL, Mega CD support, Stereo/Mono
Second Sega MD2 have: stock 47uF 16V new 220uF 16V - region PAL, Mega CD support, Stereo/Mono
Third Sega MD2 have: 220uF 16V - region EUR JAP USA, Mega CD not supported, Stereo/Mono
Fourth Sega MD2 have: 250uF 16V (my modded console) - region EUR JAP, Mega CD not supported, Stereo/Mono
Five Sega Magistr Drive 5 have: 10uF 25V - region EUR JAP USA, Mega CD not support, Stereo only
