Pardon my ignorance, I just stumbled across RC and it seems like an excellent piece of software.

I'm attempting to load some Genesis games and I just can't give RC to recognize them. They end with a "smd" extension. The docs simply state to drop them in the folder, then RC will recognize and convert it to .game automatically - but this is not happening. I'm just looking to play some Sonic here! Please advise.

I converted a Master System ROM without issue. Could it just be the Genesis ROM?

Try renaming it so they have an extension of .bin or .gen instead of .smd it should then work. v0.700 only detects those two extensions for some reason (something I overlooked). It will be fixed for next version.
