There are also sometime odd noisy sounds that I did not remember hearing before (tried in Sonic 2 vs mode), seemed like an inaccurate PSG channel.

Yeah not only noise, and PSG music volume, currently in Retrocopy 0.720 PSG sounds more loud than in my real third Mega Drive 2 :)

And yes even after my audio setups, you will hear strange noises, because Mega Drive 2 more cool sound, and all hidden SFX you will hear, all melodies, all noises and PSG dramatic melodies this is absolutely normal, because we must think, for example why japan developers create all these noises and melodies? for hidden them? no they create for another purposes, for more realistic effects, for example launched missile with loud noise effect, and this is realistic! in Genesis launched missile can't produce any noises, fire flash blow with loud noise and it realistic too!
can you say this: loud explosion without any loud explosions! just easy bump! for example game: MUSHA have a lot noise explosions, Sonic the Hedgehog by 54% contain PSG melodies and noises! and we just cut off 36%, and 18% of them will be completely hidden?
My Mega Drive 2 play all sounds at average levels without cutoff any noises and melodies :)

I have an Nvidia Geforce 250GTS with this enabled. Everything runs fine.

Nice to hear! Geforce 9xxx and 8xxx series which are absolutely fast enough for RetroCopy turn to a crawl with that option. Maybe NVIDIA fixed their drivers for that series, thanks for telling me.

Hi.

Retrocopy V700 32 bit work fine. Retrocopy V720 crash as soon as a click on the icon. When an emulator crashes like this on my system, It's often related to SSE2. Did you add SSE2 code to this version?

System:

Winows XP 32 SP3 fully updated.
DX Feb 2010 redist.
AMD Atlhon 1700 XP-M @ 2.6Hz (Prime95 & 3DMark stable 24H).
Antec 550W.
DFI Nforce II Ultra.
1.5GB DDR.
Nvidia 6800GS (3D Emulator filter = No such setting and I'm in "advanced mode", Threaded optimization = OFF).
Nvidia driver 195.62.
2 X 22In LCD in Nvidia Dualview (independent) mode @ 1680 X 1050. NOTE: Multi-display /mixed-GPU acceleration = "Compatibility performance mode". (If in "multiple performance mode", that can cause major slowdown in some app/emulators.)

[EMU] Improved speed by average 20% in all cores

Nice! Good to see you are thinking of speed too. :) We need more accurate *and* fast emulators around. Its nice to see you are proving it indeed can be done, to mix both.

Yes good improvement :)

But games: Taz-Mania and Spiderman vs the kingpin - these games run very fast, on another emulators they work at normal speeds.

Regarding the sound issues, changing the settings to 48000 fixed it quite a lot, but this is still not perfect.

One example, I had "Sound Repos : 28" in Faxanadu on Nes. However, after resetting it once, I had "3", and everything was OK from what my ears told me.

For the menu, I can definitely tell there is a huge lack of responsiveness. I tried to play around with the settings, in vain.

That's it for the complains of the day :)

I can run 4 games at full speed, but the sound stutters even with one game after a while.

Don't know about Hook but the GhostBusters one is good. Maybe a T2 one would fit? John Connor played a few arcade games in that movie. ;)

Hey man, lay off Hook!
XD

Once some true customization is implemented, then we can review gamerooms. I also changed up the other textures if you hadn't noticed.
