Hi, RetroRalph.
Can you add emulation of PAL Famiclones (like Dendy, MicroGenius, etc.) to RetroCopy?
These Famiclones (based on 6527P/6538 chips) have the specific timings.

Some new 2010's dumps requires proper emulation of these Famiclones

Best Regards.

I knew most famiclones wound up using single chip's or crappy parts, but a famiclone with entirely different timings is a bit more off. When it comes to nes emulation as well, some romhacks are more meant for older emulators and on more accurate emulators are a bit off(ie SMB hacks starting at 0-1, Extra mario bros. playing weird SFX at start)

Well, but it possible to add these clones? many russian people really want these consoles, they will be very happy use them in Retrocopy, currently only Nestopia can emulate some console clones, but not all.

It's not necessary to emulate all of them.

PAL Famiclones (Dendy, MicroGenius, Pegasus etc.) have an identical timing speed.
6527P+6538,T1818P,and UM6561(NoAC)-based PAL Famiclones have an identical timing speed too.

So it is mostly dealing with a CPU/APU at NTSC speed but with a PPU at PAL speed (with some minor changes)?

This is easy enough to add, I'll look at adding it tonight.

I finally got around to adding Dendy support. Does anyone with the real console have a better picture I can use? Hard to find high resolution pictures of it "front on".

That is the Famicon isn't it? I think the Dendy has its own graphics and whatnot on it, but never having seen one I'm not sure! :)

those pictures i posted are Famicoms, not Famicons, wait... how come you call it the Famicon? Now im really confused, are there two different systems one being called a Famicom and one being a Famicon? Is one a clone of the other?
here is a picture of a Dendy, I believe this is a Dendy Classic but dont take my word for it, apparently there are three different Dendys
