The excitement is killing me. There are so many goodies in the next release, my brain is ready to explode.

Who else is excited?

I saw a BETA build from a few months ago and I thought that had a lot of extra things..... but checking the last 4 weeks of activity has seen a monster load of stuff added. Count me in those that can't wait to see final!

Hard to know exactly when it will be finished but I've nearly finished all the loose end tying up that needs to happen. I'm just reworking key aspects of the interface so it's easy to use and flows nicely.

I took some screenshots of a few GPU filters (all processed on your graphics card instead of CPU) in the mean time. The drunk and explode filter actually are animated geomorphic type filters, hard to show how they look properly without a video.

cool filters as a gimmick :) and ralph take all the time you need i´m sure everyone here can wait a little bit longer for more stability and improvments it´s just that for every new improvment the exitement rises and so does our need for next RC :)

sorry to get off topic but will there be a build your own retrocopy PC article update?! Or is right now the 1500 computer still the best quality for retrocopy?

There are some 6 core Intel/AMD CPUs which may give you an extra boost when running multiple systems at once. However with the $1500 system you are pretty safe when it comes to performance. I will update the article soon, as that $1500 system would probably be about $1100 these days.
