I really like Retrocopy especially the 3d but I want to know if its the most accurate SMS emulator. I used to use meka a lot a few years ago but it stopped working so well on my pc when I upgraded to Windows XP but it played every game I tried.

Well that is a difficult question to answer authoritatively. *I* believe it is, since it is the only completely cycle based Master System emulator that is available. Not too many existing Sega Master System games really abuse the system too greatly, which allowed emulators like Meka to have great compatibility with a scanline based accuracy. The accuracy question when it comes to the SMS isn't so important for the existing games. Future games, and for history's sake it is important to have an ultra accurate emulator, which is what RetroCopy is designed for.

I personally also really like Meka a lot because of its innovative interface and Bock is one of the biggest SMS supporters in the world. MEKA will always have a place in my heart because of the love that was put into it. I think Kega is another good SMS emulator that offers lots of features, but its accuracy is questionable.

In the end what emulator you like is just going to come down to a personal choice, whether you are accuracy focused or not. I think RetroCopy needs to mature a little bit before it can offer some of the more "playable" features that other emulators already have. Things like save states, movies, etc still need to be added before RetroCopy can fully compete with emulators like Meka/Kega/etc. It shouldn't be too long before they are added though.

tried to play with the FM chip but the sound is really corrupted....still in progress or something wrong ? (i´ve played the same roms in other sms emu´s where it worked so i don´t think the roms are causing the problem?) by the way progress for 0.700 looks great thanx for doing this!!!

Sorry the FM issue is a known bug, I forgot to upgrade it to stereo when doing the other audio changes in 0.666B . It is already fixed for next version.

It's possible Super Tetris isn't a SMS game, it was dumped from a GG cartridge.

I'll look into Sonic Chaos though, it was running before.

I've try all things, i renamed .sms to .gg and put in GameGear directory, Retrocopy not show in game list's, also i've try run Super Tetris on Regen emulator, and Regen after game title crash, only Kega Fusion 3.64 can run this game.

Yes well I can get it to work in RC too, but it's hard to know if it's accurate or not doing so. It should work as a .GG in RC, but with wrong colors due to no SMS-mode support in GG yet.

Basically it appears as if this game was only built for GameGear, but using the SMS-compat mode. And yes there is a difference between compat mode and a real SMS, which is why this game breaks on a real SMS.

That's an interesting bug in WBML. I couldn't replicate it with RC v0.800 so either it's fixed or maybe there is something else going on there. I was using PAL mode with SMS2.
