Hello RetroRalph , I made this post so that those who want to talk about the hacks of games that deserve to be in the database can do so. I have one at the moment:


For years, I was looking for a Hack of Mortal Kombat 2 for Megadrive that to let me play with the hidden characters of the game, because if you use Game Genie Codes, the game will crash, and finally I could find a good Mortal Kombat 2 hack recently last year. The name of this hack is Mortal Kombat 2 Unlimited. It's a very good Hack. Because you can select all the secret characters Noob Saibot, Jade, smoke ninja, Kintaro and Shao Kahn, besides the new characters have their own fatalities and tricks, the game has option to run and make combos but can be disabled from options , and when Shao Kahn is defeated the game has a supreme demonstration as UMK3 showing all fatalities, friendship, and babalities of all the characters. Also has a practice mode and an endurance mode, all that keeping the essence of the original game, leaving almost a perfect game.



Also, this hack of Mortal kombat has some Mortal Kombat 1 Stages,and were well integrated into the game. And they also add voice to phrases such as Flawless Victory, as in mortal kombat 3. There are plenty of Mortal Kombat 2 Hacks, but this is the best I could find because you can disable and enable what you want, especially the run and the combo options , and I do not like playing with those options activated and most of the hacks of mortal kombat 2 have that two options and can not be disabled, but in this Hack of mortal kombat 2 , you can disable or enable what you want.

Are you sure? .... I only see mortal kombat 2 in the database, mortal kombat 2 unlimited is not in the database

Yes, I am sure. If you select "Show RetroCopy Database" instead of "What I have" in the filter options, you will find "Mortal Kombat II Unlimited" there. And if you click on Info, you will see that it says "v0.7 Smoke" in the Description field, that it is 3.6 MB and that the SHA256 checksum is 2E27CB97870791374119C13129D02D501BF92E4005E60603536988C2A591C7DF. Is version 0.7 (from 2009) the version you have?

You won't find any hacks on the website, as we don't list games that are in so called "extra-files" in the game database - protos, hacks and translations of other games. We only list the main games here, and you will have to go to RetroCopy to see different versions of the same game, protos, hacks, translations etc. of it. So we don't list the hack "Mortal Kombat II Unlimited" here, only "Mortal Kombat II".

I guess it could be done though, that you go to the Mortal Kombat II-page, and on that page see a list of all Names related to that game.
