Hi and welcome!

First of all: RetroCopy is not a frontend. All a frontend does is really just to be a more fancy version of Windows Explorer - you browse through your game ROMs, open them, and play them using many different emulators. RetroCopy IS an emulator. And it's ONE emulator. You don't need any other program than RetroCopy to play games on the systems RetroCopy supports.

So to your questions:
1) If there is media (like covers) available for the game you are looking at in RetroCopy, you will see a button that says "Update available". If you click on that all media (currently screenshots and/or covers) will be download for that game and placed in the media folder of the correct system. It is also possible to download a Torrent from the Download-section of this site. This will give you all covers and screenshots at the same time, so you don't have to download them one at a time. Currently the media you can download (including torrent) only contains Sega Master System screenshots and covers, as well as Arcade screenshots, but that will change next week when a new torrent will be ready for download. That will also include Mega Drive-covers and screenshots, Game Gear screenshots and other things.

2) You are not able to write game info, but if you have some tips to us about game info you think should be included, don't hesitate to do so here in the forum. You can write reviews from the game section of this site. Find the game you want to review and click on "Add/Read More Reviews" (I think it says)

3) That's strange. You need to be logged in to see info and reviews in RetroCopy, but it's strange that they all have a red question mark. At least some of them should be the ones that are in the Mega Drive database. Can you play them? Do they all work fine?

4) Right click on the picture of the console to change to a different version of the same console (PAL, NTSC, Japanese...) For NES you can even play with the NES-clone Dendy! Also right click on the icons in the top left corner to change them.

5) Ralph will have to answer this question as I don't know much about how mappers work. I do know that for NES there is still much left to do, and many mappers have not been added to RetroCopy yet.

But, when you activate the option of ntsc on the top left of the screen ,

the screen looks blurry. So would be good to use another color palette, or an option to allow changing the color palette.

MIGHTY FINAL FIGHT WITH NTSC: ENABLED:http://imageshack.us/photo/myimages/848/mightyfinalfightwithnts.png/

CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE IT , YOU WILL NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO IMAGES

I have set Retrocopy to 1280X720, with cpu filter Super Sai (2X) , and texture filter in smooth. With the option of ntsc, the screen looks blurry , but without the option of ntsc it looks normal , so I think it´s a bug or an error of the option NTSC.

You don't have to use that NTSC option. It is designed to make the screen look like it would look on a real NTSC TV. So it is like a NTSC filter that changes the video signals from the Nintendo console to simulate its appearence on a real NTSC TV. Ralph knows the details.

I know that, but i´m talking about the color palette. The NTSC color palette is better, and it hasn't any errors (Retrocopy´s color palette has some errors with the color brown , in Cabal , the ground is green instead of brown , this happens in other games too, like in double dragon 2)

but when i enable the ntsc option the screen looks blurry.

I like this thread title "Be easy on me". Haha.... do people think posting on a forum is like a war zone? :)

There will be a lot of work done to NES right around the time we get more NES lovers probably! :) Most of the games would work already, I would guess the compatibility rate is over 95% for NES as the emulator is cycle accurate. However with the issue of bad .NES headers, the massive game library, etc, it is hard to gauge exactly.

Since the .GAME format will be coming along and replacing the .NES format it will take a little time to handle all that and get the database done. It's a massive undertaking and I'm not bothering with it until the core stuff I've been talking about for 2 years now is done, which will be over the next few months.

As to mappers, croser, head over to :-
