I'm using the 64 bit linux version and retrocopy crashes when i try to load a game and also when the menu music stops so i assume its a sound thing. Any ideas on how to fix it?

There have been hundreds of issues fixed for v0.970 and there will be some further testing going on for Linux builds too. So hopefully this will all be sorted by next release!

Oh could you also provide the distro you're using?

Elementary OS its an Ubuntu Maverick Based Distro but i also tried it on Crunchbang and the same thing happened so i think its just a linux thing. Guess I'll stick with the windows version for now. :)

Same here on 32 bit Linux version (on Mandriva 2010.2) with v0.960. But v0.945 seems to run really well. So I'd like to thank the developers for the emulator :-)

BTW, in v0.945 save/load state didn't work. At least for the NES. Until I created "saves" subdirectory in /retrocopy/nes.

And another thing. It will be really great if Linux version make it possible to:
1. use /usr/bin/ for retrocopy binary
2. /usr/share/retrocopy/ for all "system" data and defaults
3. $HOME/.retrocopy/{nes, megadrive etc} for all user data (roms, settings and so on)

This way it will be possible to package RetroCopy (RPM, DEB etc).

Same sh*t.
It crashes at:
1. game start
2. music change
3. exiting settings screen
with segmentation fault.

There is no any log file, so I can't dig in for some more information.
