On your media player web page you say that RetroCopy supports DVDs:

"RetroCopy is the media player that fills all your needs. It can handle DVDs, VCDs, AVI, MPG, MP3 and much more."

However, I cannot find anyway to play a DVD in your program. Does the DVD have to be copied/ripped from the disc to the video folder of the program or can it be played directly from the physical disc by some method that eludes me?

Awesome emulator by the way!!!

Thanks

Windows 7 64-Bit using RetroCopy v0.960 32-Bit.

I can't help you, but I was wondering: why are you using 32-bit on a 64-bit system?

I don't think Ralph has added that feature yet. I would actually like to be able to play movies from the actual discs and use my Retrode to play the games from the actual cartridges someday. Would save me some hard drive space if those options were included.

Anyway, there is a way. I think there was a program called imgburn. Not sure if that is what you're looking for or not.

The next version supports videos a lot better. Some DVD images (in .IMG format) work for me. In theory since FFMPEG supports DVDs so should RetroCopy.... but there are a few things you won't be able to do, such as control menus, etc.

The next version also supports movies in the 64bit version.
