Many centuries ago, on the planet Aries, there lived a boy name ALEX KIDD. For seven years he lived on Mt. Eternal studying Shellcore, an ancient art that makes one strong enough to break rocks into pieces.
One day, as he was leaving the mountain for his spiritual homeland, he encountered a dying man who told him that the peaceful city of Radactian was in grave danger. Before taking his last breath, the man gave ALEX a piece of a map and a medallion made of Sun Stone.
What does it all mean? The only way to find out is to journey through the Miracle World looking for the answers.

Ah! Alex Kidd in Miracle World was one of the first platform games released for the Sega Master System. On the Master System II, Alex Kidd in Miracle World was the built-in game avaible. Alex Kidd was Sega's mascot before Sonic appears.

Here goes an advice: prepare yourself to pass 16 stages full of monsters, run from ghosts, ride a very fast motorbike, fly on the crazy peticopter forward and backward to complete your mission.

Hold UP and press button 2 eight times at the Game Over screen. It costs $400 to continue so make sure you have enough.
Bonus Round
When you see the first octopus in the swimming level kill his tentacle by punching out the segments one by one. If you use the teleport powder you can just punch him in the head a few times to kill him. After you kill him press down twice on the pot to go into the underground lake.

You must run over the floor in the following sequence: SUN-WAVES-MOON-STAR-SUN-MOON-WAVES-FISH-STAR-FISH.
Secret Message (Japanese Version)
When the ending message appears on the screen, press the 1-button on controller 2 14 times, and then 1 or 2 on controller 1 to see a secret message. This only works in the Japanese version of the game.
