One of my friends owned "Heavyweight Champ" when I was a kid, so I played it from time to time, and enjoyed it. There is a photo I looked at not so long ago of a birthday party with all the boys in my class at my house in front of the TV, playing "Heavyweight Champ". So it was quite popular. And rightly so, as it (for its time) was a good boxing game. It's strange though that I was so much better at it as a kid than I am now. Even though it was hard back then as well, I remember beating it several times. Now I have big problems even beating the first opponent, B. Santana.

The music is awesome in this game, and I love that each opponent has his own music. The graphics is also quite good for an 8-bit-game, and much better than what a NES could ever produce. A bit repetetive maybe, and perhaps a bit too hard, but still a very good game.
