Proto
This port of the Game Gear version of the game was going to be released for the Sega Master System in European countries, but was cancelled. A close-to-finished proto version of the game was made available by SMS Power! 20 Sep 2011.
No Sega header
The ROM image does not contain a valid Sega header, which means the game will not work on an unmodified western Sega Master System. The BIOS will have to be simulated ("None" in RetroCopy) for the game to work, or else the BIOS will show a software error screen.
Secret Characters
Enter the follow initials to use secret characters. When you confirm the last initial, instead of pressing BUTTON1 as you would normally do, press the indicated combination. You need to position the cursor on the adjacent letter so the direction press will move it onto the correct letter.

Power Ups
Press the buttons shown during the Tonight's Match Up screen. "Rotate" means you should press all 8 directions on the D-pad (4 is not enough).
Defense - BUTTON2 five times
Intercept - BUTTON2 fifteen times, then rotate (You can now steal the ball more easily)
Turbo - BUTTON2 fifteen times, hold LEFT (You get unlimited turbo)
Dunks - BUTTON2 thirteen times, then rotate (You can dunk from almost anywhere)
Fire - BUTTON2 seven times, hold UP+BUTTON2 (You will be on fire for the whole game)
Show Shot - BUTTON2, hold DOWN+BUTTON2 (Shot percentages appear at the top left of the screen)
