Music Test
At the song selection screen, press RIGHT,LEFT,DOWN,UP and then select a song and press BUTTON1. Instead of the game starting with that music, you will now hear it playing at the song selection screen.
Less Time
Think the game is too easy? After you've entered the music test code and started playing a song, press UP,DOWN,LEFT,RIGHT,RIGHT,LEFT,DOWN,UP, then either LEFT+BUTTON1 or RIGHT+BUTTON1 to start with 75 seconds, or DOWN+BUTTON1 to start with 70 seconds on the timer instead of the usual 80 seconds.
