Wow this game brings back the memories. My mother was out of town for some reason and it was strange that my father was looking after us all on his own. He was probably out of his depth so decided to take us to the video store - I quickly looked at the games available and decided to rent this game not knowing anything about the arcade roots of it (there was no internet back then give me a break!)
I stayed up all night playing it with my brother but we never finished it. The game is quite revolutionary for the time with being able to destroy the environment (buildings). Ah the good old days.
Extra Points
The manual doesn't tell you that if you catch and hold the civilian in each scene, the longer you hold him (without punching anything), the more bonus points you will rack up. The Ape can grab the lady, the Lizard can grab the young man, and the Wolf can grab the businessman.
Yellow Woman
On most of the screens you'll see a woman wearing on a yellow dress. On occasions, this woman will give you an extra life if you eat her.
Continue game play
After losing all health on your final life, keep tapping BUTTON2 until you leave the screen as a human. If done correctly, the game will resume with you as the monster selected at the beginning of the game, but with the score reset to zero.
