This is a game I borrowed off a friend back in the late 80's and it was a high class shooter. fast paced and decent spites. music is superb and set the tone for the game. the bosses are both challenging and decent. the power ups are limited but honestly the powers are just life, zillion gun power up and I leave the best for last you bike is a transformers as it turns into a robot and back if you press down and jump I believe. There are so many enemies to shoot for a 8 bit machine I remember looking at the manual and there was like 12-14 pages for enemies here.
