Zool was one of the many mascots -like Zero or Aero- that tried to steal Sonic of its crown, without doing much damage or causing a lasting impression on the players. This said, Zool's game is one of the best platform games for the Genesis, moving as fast as Sonic and with scenarios packed with surreal imagery.
